Tax year end 2017: Are ISAs or current accounts the best place to save £5,000?

SAVERS have until April 5 to use their 2016/17 ISA allowance to shelter up to £15,240 of cash from income tax, but with rates at dismal lows, money could generate better returns elsewhere.
